Join Hereford police male voice choir
Singing is fun!
We all know that, but do you know how good it is for your health and wellbeing?
The benefits to your mental health are well documented, these are enhanced by new friendships with men just like you.
“But I can’t sing!”
Yes you can, you may not realise that yet, but we’ve all got it within us. Rarely do guys join us with a background of singing, but the teamwork, camaraderie and sense of being a part of something special soon shows you that you have something worth contributing. There is no singing test required to join, we mentor all new choristers and constant help is provided by our wonderful music team.
We’re a friendly bunch, it’s probably fair to say we like our social side (very important). We always have an ‘afterglow’ after every performance, a time to eat, drink and let our hair down (those of us who still have any!). Social events are always happening, from karaoke nights to pub singalongs to curry nights and golfing events. None of this would be possible if we didn’t have our wonderful ladies section, without their dedication and enthusiastic support, we wouldn’t be the choir we are today.
We rehearse on a Tuesday night at The Rose Garden in Hereford at 7.15 where you would be most welcome to come and watch what we do from a comfortable seating area and get a feel for what we are all about.
